Montessori Philosophy
"Free the child's potential, and you will transform him into the world."
Maria Montessori
"We cannot know the consequences of suppressing a child's spontaneity when he is just beginning to be active. We may even suffocate life itself. That humanity which is revealed in all its intellectual splendor during the sweet and tender age of childhood should be respected with a kind of religious veneration. It is like the sun which appears at dawn or a flower just beginning to bloom. Education cannot be effective unless it helps a child to open up himself to life."
Maria Montessori
The Montessori philosophy begins with the nature of the child. Maria Montessori believed in education being a means of meeting the needs of the natural developing child. Every child has a natural hunger and curiosity of knowledge. If addressed and fulfilled correctly by the environment, the child will develop a lifelong motivation to learn and grow. The Montessori concept encompasses both a philosophy and a method of education that will capitalize the potential of your child. The specially developed teaching tools and stimulating materials contained in the Montessori classroom are key to the process, and ensure learning is always exciting and delightful for children.
